"Wounded" ... but I'm still in the fight

Down ... but not for the count. The Chief Fixer is rallying

Apologies for the lack of posts over the last couple of days. The Chief Fixer at Daily Soccer Fix had a lousy weekend, most of which was spent in bed, with the poor dogs cocking their doggy heads curiously, trying to figure out why I wasn't getting the heck up and taking them on their usual runs and such.

But I'm rallying today, none the worse.  I'll have a little something later on my pre-balloting for MLS Awards. I'm on a small and supremely distinguished panel that gets to set the wheels in motion for the process with the MLSnet.com Award Tracker, which is set to launch this week.

No need for much of a report on Yanks abroad. Outside of Tim Howard's clean sheet for Everton in a 1-0 win at Portsmouth, it was a fairly tame weekend for our boys over there.

Until then, I'll be writing my weekly roundup for MLSnet.com ... and waiting for the latest round of medication to kick in.
