US Soccer: The Truth
Look, I love our Yanks as much as anyone, but this article by Ty Duffy speaks the truth. Its all for the better, as I think everyone just wants the US to be a power in the world of Football. The last line of the story:
"Soccer will do well in this country. But, unless U.S. Soccer and MLS improve, it won’t be the American brand of it."
... He's right.

Not to say that there aren't legitimate criticisms of US Soccer
but that post is absolute rubbish.
Cherrypicking numbers and making up artificial boundaries for play samples in order to make your point look stronger… I mean, it wouldn’t pass muster in a middle school debate tournament.

I think he’s harsh on Donovan – the guy’s been running the offense for national team – but he’s also right Donovan’s not as productive as we might have though he’d be eight or ten years ago. I think most U.S. fans realize that though.
I agree with him on Bradley who I think is okay but has a tendency to get outmanuevered as games progress and waits to long to make changes, both tactically and in terms of personnel.
