Wonder goals from the weekend that really are

Not a week goes by where a local announcer on an MLS broadcast doesn’t scream about goal of the week. Frequently, they breathlessly jump the gun on calling this strike or that one a “sure Goal of the Year,” candidate. Frankly, some are but most aren’t.

But did you see Sebastien Le Toux’s remarkably strike Saturday? Or how about Freddie Ljungberg’s little wonder in the mid-week win over San Jose?

Watch ‘em with the appropriate number of “oohs” and “awes.”

Ljungberg's goal is here.

Le Toux's wonder strike is here.

And just for fun, you can find David Beckham'sfree kick goal from Sunday night here.

I liked De Rosario's goal vs Seattle

fantastic ball through; DR had some work to do finish and finish he did do, beautifully.

That was a great goal

Not often you see Keller abused like that at the near post. Toe poke I think, but a dang good one.

It was indeed hard to watch

(actually, I’ll admit. I was grabbing a beer.) At least he didn’t sign any fake checks or do that stupid birdman dance. Or win!
