Everton v Manchester UnitedUploaded by balakolide. - Discover the latest sports and extreme videos.

I'm posting this (a) because I love to see Manchester United eat it and (b) because I don't like to hear everyone bitching about Donovan missing a "sitter" without mentioning the way he set up Pienaar's assist. And even when you want to argue that Donovan should have buried the shot, answer me this: is there a striker in the world who would bury that shot ten times out of ten? Five times out of ten? The opportunity lasted less than a second, come off it.

Bottom line is that Everton does well with Donovan in the line-up

Everton went ahead, and then sealed the match by being able to exploit a ManU defense that was worn out and disorganized — worn out and disorganized after facing energy, pace and creativity for 75 minutes.

Fun game to watch

Had a hell of a pace to it throughout.

I’m really impressed with the little things that Donovan does out there. He continually doesn’t force things and makes extra passes to set others up and it’s just impressive to watch. He and Piennarr are a nice combination out wide and up front. I’m biased because I’m an American but I’m really impressed with his play. Would love to see him stay over there, although it doesn’t look as if he will. I just think it’s a lot more fun to watch him play against the best competition in the world as opposed to the MLS.
